Spicy Turkey Tacos

  • 8 crunchy corn taco shells
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 tsp adobo seasoning
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 4 Cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella grated
  • 1 cup pico de gallo
  • 1 cup sour cream


  1. Preheat oven to 375° and place taco shells into Oven Safe Taco Tenders on a baking sheet

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey and break down to a crumble while browning. Add adobo seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.

  3. Add garlic and onions to the turkey and cook for 4 minutes. Then add in the crushed tomatoes and cilantro. Reduce heat to simmer.

  4. Place baking sheet with Taco Tenders and shells in oven for 2-3 minutes or until warm.

  5. Serve immediately and top with sour cream, mozzarella, pico de gallo and cilantro.

Recipe Notes

Leave out the cayenne pepper for a non-spicy meal.
